Visit Hereford

The Cathedral city of Hereford is 25 minutes drive from Holt Farm. The City dates from the 7th century and the Cathedral from 1079 AD, making it one of the oldest in England. Hereford Cathedral houses a number of important artefacts including the Mappa Mundi and the medieval Chained Library, a collection of rare manuscripts, early printed books and religious relics.

Also of note is the historic Black and White House in the city centre as well as up to the minute shopping in the Old Market site as well as the Cider Museum to explore.

The official Herefordshire website gives detail on the many points of local interest at www.visitherefordshire.co.uk

Further afield in the county there are National Trust properties to explore with all the family, also Hampton Court Castle. The county has many old market towns each with their own individual character.
