The Barn is approached by its own private drive leading to a cobbled and flag-stoned patio. Outdoor furniture on the patio provides the ideal rural viewing point and complementary lighting welcomes the winter visitor and encourages summer nights dining.
Entrance into the main hall is through either set of large oak framed glazed doors into the 10 meter long full height [6 metres] living and dining area. The central feature is the large oak table to seat 12 and there is plenty of space for additional diners. The expansive area of flag stoned floors is heated from beneath for cooler days.
Within the main hall of The Barn adjacent to the dining table is the sitting area with deep comfortable sofas, television with DVD/video combination, radio/CD player, and a wood burner for additional warmth.
Above the sitting area and accessed via an ornate spiral staircase is a double bed room set in the roof space, with en suite bath, over bath shower, toilet and washbasin.
The northern wing comprises the raised open plan kitchen approached by a short ornate staircase. With its bespoke oak units, fridge freezer, double oven, dishwasher, microwave oven, and 5-ring gas hob, the kitchen has all the amenities needed to cater for a larger group.

Antique oak furniture to complement the stonework
and beams
Beyond the kitchen is a large bedroom furnished with an iron king-sized bed and antique oak furniture. Oak framed and glazed doors allow views over the orchard and hills beyond.
Stone stairs lead from the central hall to the lower level of the northern wing of The Barn, with a twin bedroom, utility room and main shower room. The shower room has a toilet, heated towel rail, wash basin and a generous shower enclosure. The spacious third bedroom has twin beds and is adjacent to the shower room. Glazed doors open onto and give views across the courtyard.
The utility area has a washing machine and drier and is adjacent to another external door leading onto a cobbled pathway to the other holiday homes.
The Barn is available for between £565 and £950 per week depending on season.
